Frequently asked
Quick answers.
How fast will I notice a difference?+
Everyone is different, so experiences vary. That's why we suggest enjoying it before bed.*
What does a cleanse tea do?+
A cleanse tea is a warm herbal cup for occasional use. Senna supports regularity, and peppermint, licorice and fennel round out the cup.*
Who is it for?+
Women looking for a caffeine-free, before-bed herbal tea for occasional use. It is not for anyone pregnant or nursing, or for children.
Can it cause cramping?+
It can. Senna may cause abdominal pain, passage of liquid stool, or spasm. Start with one bag and see how your body responds, and do not use it when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present.
Will it keep me regular?+
Everyone's body is different. This tea is for occasional use, not a nightly habit, and it is not intended for long term use unless under your doctor's supervision.*
I have a digestive condition. Is it okay?+
Consult your doctor before use if you have a medical condition or you're taking any medication. Do not use it when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present.
What does it taste like?+
Like a peppermint patty in a mug. Cool mint and rich chocolate flavor. Enjoy it hot or over ice.
Is it really caffeine-free?+
Yes, it's a caffeine-free herbal tea. That's why it fits a before-bed ritual.
Can I drink it every day?+
No. It contains senna, so it is not intended for long term use unless under your doctor's supervision and/or directions. Enjoy it occasionally, when you feel you need it.
Can I drink it while pregnant or nursing?+
No. This blend contains senna leaf, which is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please check with your OB or healthcare provider before using any herbal product at those stages.
When should I drink it?+
Before bed. Pour 8 oz of just-boiled water over one tea bag, steep 6 to 12 minutes, squeeze the bag, and sip.
Can I drink it iced or hot?+
Both. It's lovely hot as a dessert-like nightcap, or steep as directed and pour over ice. Either way, the mint chocolate flavor stays the same.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Absolutely. Skip a month, change your frequency, or cancel, all from your account. No phone calls, no hoops. Our 30-day guarantee means you can request a full refund too.
What's in the welcome gift?+
When you Subscribe & Save, your first order ships with a FREE Tea Tumbler + Infuser (a $45.49 value) plus FREE shipping. The insulated tumbler keeps your tea hot for 12 hours or cold for 24, and the built-in infuser lets you brew your Hey Girl tea anywhere.
